A unique and intimate venue
Our 200-year-old Kentish barn stands in a peaceful rural location surrounded by pastureland. The beautiful garden gazebo is perfect for spring and summer weddings, while the magnificent hallway and minstrels gallery is licenced for wedding ceremonies all year round. Whichever you choose, a luxury marquee on the southern lawn provides a stunning venue for your evening reception. Inside and out, every detail has been meticulously designed to make The Old Kent Barn one of the most romantic settings to get married. Flowers, drapes and sumptuous furnishings complement the Barnís magnificent hallway, while rose-scented gardens, statuettes, love seats and a cascading waterfall grace the landscaped grounds.

Romantic in winter
Winter weddings are performed in the Barn s magnificent hallway, in the minstrels  gallery on the first floor. Up to 70 guests can view the ceremony from either the minstrels  gallery itself or the grand hall downstairs.

Idyllic in summer
Summer weddings take place outside in our classic wooden gazebo, against a backdrop of landscaped gardens and countryside. The ceremony can be attended by up to 150 guests, with a canopy over the seating area if required.

Bespoke service
Once you have decided upon the setting for your ceremony you can choose from one of our nominated caterers. Onsite parking, evening entertainment and a licensed bar are also available to ensure your day exceeds all expectations.

Marquee reception
Summer and winter wedding receptions are held in a magnificent marquee, which holds up to 150 for your wedding breakfast and 250 evening guests. A line of 100-foot horse chestnut trees, floodlit at night to dramatic effect, provides a majestic backdrop for the celebrations.
