Once the hunting pavilion of King Edward VIII, Hayne Barn House was a family property that has been lovingly restored and is now a family run wedding venue in Saltwood. The original features of the Tudor House have been preserved, such as the wood panelling , marble chequered hall and the Prince’s feathers in what is now the bridal suite.

The beautifully landscaped gardens have been designed to ensure that guests can enjoy a romantic and colourful display whatever time of the year, ideal for wedding pictures and a champagne reception.

The wood panelled Prince’s Salon is licensed for civil weddings, and on a lovely warm summer day ceremonies can be held outside in the romantic gardens. Intimate wedding breakfasts of up to 45 people can be held within the House, in a cosy and relaxed atmosphere by the roaring fireplaces. Larger parties are held in the stylish marquee, which can hold up to 100 people and is tastefully decorated for an exclusive wedding breakfast.

The brand new marquee is of the highest standard, with all the features to make the perfect wedding day: the oriental canopy to welcome your guests, parquet dance floor, ivory linings, tables and chairs, chandeliers and heating. And many more can be arranged so that your day is truly unique.

The sumptuous bridal suite is a truly unique feature overlooking the grounds, with vaulted ceilings, Fleur de Lys columns and the original black marble bath, symbolic of the Prince’s many stays at Hayne Barn House. The second en suite character bedroom will be available for guests by the spring, and a third one will be totally refurbished and ready for spring 2012.
